About Us
Hi there!
Chesapeake Bay ABA was founded by Julia Millard, MS, BCBA, LBA, whose career in Applied Behavior Analysis began with in-home ABA therapy—first as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), and later as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Clinical Supervisor. Over time, Ms. Millard expanded her professional interests to include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), holistic behavior analysis, IEP advocacy, and behavioral consultation. Chesapeake Bay ABA was established with the mission of providing high-quality ABA services with a strong emphasis on collaboration, consultation, and education—empowering families, educators, and clients through compassionate, individualized care.
Chesapeake Bay ABA was inspired by the calming and restorative qualities of water. Having grown up in and around the Chesapeake Bay, Ms. Millard felt it was a meaningful reflection of her therapeutic approach and a fitting namesake for her practice.
